Esto representa casi el doble de la potencia del seis cilindros en l\u00ednea que originalmente equipaba el Land Cruiser, y deber\u00eda hacer que el SUV tenga una aceleraci\u00f3n considerablemente m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida. Sin embargo, Toyota afirma que el cambio de motor no se debi\u00f3 \u00fanicamente a la velocidad, destacando tambi\u00e9n el funcionamiento m\u00e1s silencioso, las menores emisiones y la mayor eficiencia de combustible del moderno V6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si bien la Tundra utiliza una caja de cambios autom\u00e1tica de 10 velocidades, Toyota conserv\u00f3 la transmisi\u00f3n manual original de cinco velocidades del Land Cruiser, fabricando una placa adaptadora para acoplar la palanca de cambios al sistema de propulsi\u00f3n i-Force. El equipo tambi\u00e9n cre\u00f3 nuevos soportes de motor y modific\u00f3 el c\u00e1rter de aceite para adaptarlo al chasis del Land Cruiser. Toyota logr\u00f3 integrar el V6 sin cortar el cortafuegos ni reubicar los puntos de anclaje del motor, preservando as\u00ed el car\u00e1cter del modelo original.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las principales modificaciones incluyen una elevaci\u00f3n de 3,8 cm, robustos neum\u00e1ticos de 35 pulgadas y una inversi\u00f3n de los grilletes delanteros, que ajusta el punto de conexi\u00f3n de los muelles de ballesta al chasis y altera el comportamiento de la suspensi\u00f3n.
